  • You absolutely do not need prior dance experience. Dance is for everybody and every BODY. We welcome beginners with open arms! Some classes will have pre-requisites that will be listed below the class description ensuring safety and quality class time.

  • For pole dance classes, you will need skin to stick to the pole and not slip. Therefore we recommend fitted clothing such as athletic shorts and tops/sports bras. We encourage you to wear what makes you feel most comfortable and sexy while being safe. No privates exposed please!

Heels or socks may be required for certain classes. You can always bring heels for the freestyle portion of classes.

Bring a water bottle, small towel and grip aid if you need extra stick to the poles. Please no sticky or tac grip aids or jewelry- they damage the poles.

  • Yes! We encourage our students to get in extra studio time to work on things they learned in class. This will be your own time; no instructors will be assisting. Please do not teach other students during open studio for safety reasons. Bring headphones to listen to your own music as there might be other dancers practicing as well. Please book open studio time via our Book Now link.

  • We take your privacy seriously at The Pole Palace and want to ensure our students feel comfortable to freely express themselves. Our doors are locked during class time. We also have privacy vinyl on our windows and door.

We encourage our students to record themselves during class. You are encouraged to share and tag the studio on social media within your comfort zone. Please always make sure to ask other students if they are okay with posting if they appear in your video.

  • As a new studio, we hope to spread the word and showcase our students’ talents. We will be offering performance opportunities for holiday showcases as well as instructor support in other Chicagoland performances and competitions.
